Both strong and durable, we only use the finest quality particle board when constructing our wardrobe carcasses, facings, and side panels. Incredibly long-lasting and available in a variety of colours, it is the perfect choice for creating the perfect flush finish around skirting boards, coverings, and period features. Its durability is unmatched, meaning it will not discolour, warp, or distort, keeping its shape over time.
Particleboard is ideal for a variety of finishes and can be covered with the same material to match your furniture. Helping to maintain our excellent quality finish and longevity of our furniture and wardrobes.
Robust and sturdy, we use fibreboard for our wardrobe doors. The deep router grade board creates a perfectly smooth finish. Its high quality is ideal for large furniture as it does not distort or warp. Its strength ensures it keeps its shape with a high finish.
Our fibreboards are wrapped in industry grade vinyl available in over 130 colours and textures, ensuring you can transform your space with the finish of your dreams. There are two main methods of construction when manufacturing bespoke fitted wardrobes; Carcass and Front Framed options.
Each method offers its own purpose and benefits, but both deliver guaranteed quality. At Deanes, we offer both options so you can invest in a bespoke storage solution that truly fits your home and lifestyle needs.
Our Carcass wardrobes are the default option, offering the best quality, construction, and overall internal and external aesthetic.
Designed with solid 18mm panels, as well as internal top, bottom, side, and back panels. This method of construction creates a “fill carcass” that covers all flooring and walls; offering continuity and craftsmanship that fits seamlessly with your individual storage requirements and design needs.
The methods and materials we use for our Carcass wardrobes ensure you have a fitted storage solution that is strong, stable, and reliable.
As the name suggests, Front Framed wardrobes create a frame of the wardrobe, which is then paired with our bespoke wardrobe doors and supporting frames for your fitted solution.
This method doesn’t include an internal carcass, meaning you will see your walls and flooring when you open the wardrobe. However, we can still install the storage solution you require, including rails and shelving; they just won’t be internally enclosed.
Front Framed wardrobes are typically the best option for sliding wardrobe designs or fitting bespoke storage in unusual areas or areas that are limited for space.
