If you receive a genuinely like-for-like quote from another fitted furniture company, we are happy to review it with you. Where the design, specification, materials, installation method, warranty and overall service are truly comparable, we will do everything we can to match the price.
But our promise is not simply about being the cheapest.
It is about giving you confidence that you are making the right decision, with a company that cares about the finished result, the experience, and the long-term value of your furniture.
What does “like-for-like” really mean?
A fitted furniture quote is not always easy to compare at first glance. Two designs may look similar on paper, but the details behind them can be very different.
When reviewing a price match, we look at the full specification, including the design, materials, internal layout, finishes, installation method, warranty, aftercare and overall service included.
A quote may not be like-for-like if it uses standard modular units, lower-grade materials, fewer internal features, reduced fitting detail, subcontracted installation, shorter warranty cover or a different level of customer support.
This matters because the cheapest quote is not always the best value. True value comes from furniture that fits properly, works beautifully, lasts longer, and is supported properly after installation.

How our Price Match Promise works
Step 1:
Share your alternative quote
Send us the quote you would like us to review. Ideally, this should include drawings, measurements, materials, finishes, internal layout, installation details and any warranty information.
Step 2:
We compare the full specification
We will look carefully at what has been included and compare it against the Deanes proposal. This helps us understand whether the two quotes are genuinely like-for-like.
Step 3:
We explain the difference clearly
If the quotes are comparable, we will do everything we can to match the price.
If they are not directly comparable, we will explain why. This might be because the materials, construction, fitting method, warranty, design detail or service level are different.
Step 4:
You make an informed decision
Our aim is to help you choose with confidence. Whether we can match the price or not, you will understand exactly what you are paying for and why.

At Deanes, we have developed four primary payment methods to ensure a seamless ordering process for you. Firstly, our standard payment terms involve a 50% deposit, followed by a 45% payment due before installation and a final 5% payment on installation day. These are our fixed terms and cannot be altered.
In addition to our standard terms, we have three credit options, all currently offering 0% interest credit. These options include 12 and 24-month terms, where the total amount due is divided by the chosen term length.
The last option is our Buy Now Pay Later option, which allows you to place an order and defer payment for 12 months. These are the exclusive payment choices available to you.

Deanes maintains a long-standing partnership with Novuna Credit Services, the provider of all in-store credit services.

The credit application process is straightforward. Your design consultant will ask you a series of brief and simple questions, entering your details into the secure Novuna portal. A quick credit check is conducted, and within minutes, you’ll know your eligibility for credit.
Subsequently, you’ll pay the deposit for your order. After order completion and installation, you’ll receive a satisfaction survey, which, once completed, initiates your chosen payment option.

Yes, a deposit is required. At present, we request a 50% deposit to secure installation dates and commence the manufacturing of your design. You can choose to pay more, and in certain cases, a higher deposit may be necessary. Refer to the borrowing thresholds for specific details.

Our borrowing limits encompass a minimum and maximum range. The minimum amount you can borrow is £3,000, while the maximum limit is set at £10,000. Should your credit needs exceed £10,000, you’ll be asked to cover the difference within your deposit.

Charges are exclusive to the Buy Now Pay Later option, where a £29 administration fee is levied by the lender to establish the finance.
Additionally, if you don’t settle the total amount within 12 months, you’ll automatically be enrolled in a 48-month agreement at a 14.9% APR.

Yes, a credit denial will impact your credit score. The standard credit checks performed during the application process are recorded on your credit file.

There’s a timeframe from the moment you’re accepted to when the credit agreement should commence. This duration varies, and while our average installation timeline is 6-8 weeks, reapplying shouldn’t be necessary. In cases where you make a purchase but require a delay in installation due to third-party work, we’ll monitor the eligibility period regularly and address any issues as needed.

Early repayment is possible. This applies to the 12 and 24-month arrangements and doesn’t entail any additional fees if you wish to conclude the agreement by paying off the outstanding balance.

Your warranty period begins once the wardrobes are completed and the balance is settled. The completion of the satisfaction survey at the end of the installation serves as the start of the agreement term. Any delays in this process may affect the warranty coverage.
